ez bench progression for gains
let's say I want want to go from weight A to B with my working set.

>Day 1
5x5 A, single B.
>Day 2
5 sets: 1x5 A, 1x(2-3) B, 1x5 A, 1x(2-3) B, 1x5 A
>Day 3
3x8 A, 3x3 B
>Day 4
8x5 A
>Day 5
1x10 A, 4x4 B, 1x10 A
>Day 6
3x5 B
>Day 7
5x5 B

you get the idea

And these are not consecutive days just bench sessions

The tried and true way is to just do like 3x5 and add weight.
