I recently took a trip to Copenhagen, Denmark. I have never seen so many thin beautiful people in my life. They just looked so fucking healthy. Not buff, not skeleton, just truly healthy.

Wtf happened to America bros? What are we doing wrong? How do we make america /thin/ again?

The reality is that it is American culture that causes fatness. It's not sugar, it's not regulations, it's not seed oils, it's not any sort of MAHA BS. That's all just a cope. They have poptarts and McDonalds in Japan and Denmark. They could all whale out if they wanted to, but they don't. America simply has a culture that tolerates being fat. We're a very relaxed and very permissive culture. The reason people are fat as fuck here is the same reason people wear pajamas and basketball shorts everywhere. We're laidback and we don't give a fuck about appearances, so everyone just blows up like the Hindenburg. There's no real solution because there's no way to intentionally change a culture in the long-term.

Living in America is a unique level of suffering. I wish I could move abroad but I'd be part of the problem

As an Irishman who lived in Canada then moved to America, America is fucked bro, it's in its final season. I live in Seattle, and everyone is shocked that I walk everywhere, I walked to climate pledge the other day from my flat for a concert, and everyone went, but that's 40 minutes, just pure fucking laziness. Portion sizes are fucked, and a home meal costs just as much as dining out. Lastly though it's a total lack of shame. People in Europe feel shame for being fat, because it's socialist Healthcare, so just like smoking people judge you. In America however due to body positivity and the fact the average woman is 5'5 170, they normalize it with words like thicc. I'm a 6'1 jacked beast with shoulders wide as a door and 20 inch arms, and I smoke at work, because it's the only time people will leave me alone, it's stunning how comfortable fat fucks are walking up to me, going you smoke so unhealthy, a coworker who easily weighs 300 pounds did that to me the other day after bragging the busiest day of the year had her walk 8000 steps in a day.

I think this is the most depressing part of living in the US. Nobody walks anywhere, and so it makes it that much harder to meet or connect with anyone. There's genuinely no better way to get to know someone than a chill 30 minute walk.
