To be lean you have to eat and live lean, both in terms of diet and exercise, being lean means a restricted calorie intake and also your macronutrient ratio should lean to towards protein, less fat and carbs. You also need to be active, look at nature, lean muscular creatures engage in some form of explosive movement and cardiovascular exercise.

10k steps a day, enjoyable work outs you don't skip, some cardio if you're feeling zealous.
Replace snacks with fruits and reduce carbs.

I've CICO'd myself down to low bodyfat %, but its never been sustainable to keep autistically tracking my calories every single day, and I end up stopping the calorie tracking and I lose the low bodyfat % status

Being able to maintain that shit is genetics and life-long habits.

Its not even about having been sedentary as a kid that makes you not able to be lean as an adult, because I personally know shit tons of ripped guys who NEVER played sports or were active growing up, and have lived sedentary life as gamers their entire life, and are single digit bodyfat as an adult despite still being completely inactive

The reality is, its genetics.


I eat no vegetables, no fruits, I change my bed sheets once every 3 months at most, I eat tons of chocolate and junk, and yet I have perfectly clear skin.... I have NO skin care routine... but I have perfectly clear skin.....why? genetics.

caloric deficit + resistance training produces desired results eventually
then find caloric maintenance number and continue resistance training to maintain visual appearance

that's it, it doesn't need to be more complicated than that
there's nothing magical about cardio, and in many cases it is counter-productive for the purpose of weight loss, if I wanted to do cardio for health I would add it in and then completely offset the calories burned by increasing my caloric intake. otherwise you risk pointlessly increasing hunger (and therefore difficulty)

Only times I've gotten paper skin level lean was with p-smf and walking. Although it's almost always came with an injury.

Only takes me 4 weeks (not continuous) but they're brutal enough I need drugs to even sleep.
