Worth noting there are incredibly strict standards for animals bred for raw meat consumption. You can't eat wild meat raw because it's covered in parasites and bacteria. It's also assumed mass produced meat is going to be cooked, so there's a tolerable amount of bacteria because it'll be destroyed by cooking. Raw meat consumption is still retarded though because it actually makes proteins more digestible. Raw meat has slightly higher vitamin profile but it's absolutely not worth it because it tastes shit. Mett and steak tartare and beef carpaccio are incredibly boring and I've had them all multiple times.
