Lying on my back is the only postion that doesnt hurt but I just cant fall asleep, idk why my body just cant do it, ill lie there for 4-5 hours despite being really tried and sleepy. If I fall asleep on my side either will wake up in 30 mineuts if I can even fall asleep cuz my arms go numb or have a dull ache. I spent 800 bucks on various pillows this year. Im losing my fucking mind!! My eyes always hurt with this deep burning. I cant fucking take it anymore!!!

It's not that it causes sleep apnea. But when someone has a sleep apnea, they often can breath freely when sleeping on their side. While sleeping on their back will collapse their breathing ways.

I had this at one point. The thing was that I had rounded shoulders a kid. When I fixed disbalance in my shoulders and trained them to a decent size, I started to sleep with a proper posture. Thus blocking the flow in my arms. Now I try to sleep with collapsed in shoulders and it feels great. No numbness in my hands. In the pose the toddlers usually sleep.
Try it.
For sleeping on your back, put pillows below your elbows to lift your arms and put a pillow on your stomack and put your your arms on it. Feels good this way. Besides, a pillow on your stomach is a good hack to fall asleep. For whatever reason when your increase your stomach temp, it's much easier to fall asleep. Also tilt your head on a side. First night, you won't sleep, by the 7th night you sleep from pure exhaustion and after 6 months anything else will feel weird.

I sleep on my back because I've had a lot of plastic surgery, so my nose and tit implants hurt if I'm on my side for 8 hours a night. You'll get used to it OP, you just have to suffer for the first 6 months

Try to move your shoulders forward and reach out with your hands as if you try to hug someone in front of you. Actually hugging a pillow is the best. The best position for me when the hands go to the front and down towards my legs. I would say at 30 degrees. So basically right pic with slightly elevated from her body hands.
If I sleep like the left one, I will wake up with completely numb hands and my shoulders will hurt.
Just don't forget to keep a good posture when you are awake. Otherwise your will fuck up your shoulder while lifting.

Buzzing sensation is not really a cut circulation, but compressed nerves. Which is still very bad. You should definitely buy some good b vitamin complex, without any synthetic shit.
I should also mention that I put one of those ergobomic pillow for head under my ribs to lift my body up. It's quite hard and lifts my upper body 3-4 cm. Ofc your pillow under your head should be taller than that. This might remove the pressure.
I have nothing else to advice. I wish you the best of luck.

I'm familiar with that paper, and I myself am a "floor sleeper", I sleep on a thin stiff mat similar to a tatami, I do use a thin pillow because I primarily sleep on my stomach-side. But when I first lie down and stretch I like to do it on my back, I can literally hear my back cracking after a whole day at work. I loathe modern mattresses, I've always had lower back and upper back issues because of them, and I couldn't understand why I felt more comfy just lying on a carpet, then 15 years ago I just bit bullet and switched to floor sleeping. My now ex-wife wasn't enthusiastic about that switch, lmao.
But these days I wanna get a low profile bed frame like this for better air circulation underneath, and the floors can't be uncomfortably cold in winter.

And as another anon said, sleeping on the ground or even on a mat like I do isn't the same as sleeping on the cold tile, concrete, or even wooden floor. You are another 4chan retard who has no idea what the fuck you're talking about but spew it as fact anyway.
Lying on your back typically does make it worse. Gravity is working against your lungs as opposed to when you lay on your side. Also on your back your tongue is more likely to fall back and obstruct your airway

do you take a lot of caffiene?
When I was taking 800mg-1000mg I was drinking 3 gallons of water a day and pissing constantly.
When I cut back to about 400mg my water consumption dropped to less than 2 gallons.

There's a link between traumatic experiences and not being able to sleep on your back. People who have been through basic training, police academies, and the like report losing the ability to sleep on their back after the first day. There's no clear understanding as to why. OP was likely molested.

>sleep on side
>lose circulation to arms

This only started happening when I got super swole. Circulation sucks when laying on your side so recovery suffers and you can wake up with dead limbs. How is that a plus in nature? I regularly wake up with one arm being asleep.

Most of the time I fall asleep while lying on the side, but I always wake up lying on my back in the morning.
So I reckon that I just turn to lie on my back after falling asleep and then keep lying that way for the rest of the night
