You don’t need a strong spotter to spot unless your bones break or muscles tear.
Just slightly pushing the bar with fingers should be enough to help you finish if you’re stuck. Unless you’re retard and bench much higher above your possible 1RM

Why don't all gyms have bench with safeties?
They literally remove the need for spotting while having no downsides.

Because those cost more, especially if the safeties are adjustable, and they suck ass to use if they aren't. It's completely fine to go to failure without safeties or a spotter with the roll of shame. I've failed a PR like 3 times in one gym session, I didn't give a fuck. Sometimes I would get someone rushing to help me, but it just goes to show they don't know how to bench themselves. The bench is completely safe if you respect it, and retards who don't deserve to die.

Thats why any good flat bench is higher off the ground. So the pl8s dont get stuck on the ground before sliding off or at least its a steeper angle and easier to slide out of. You could also get 1 set of bumper pl8s for a home gym since they slide off faster and push the other weight off faster. Another piece of equipment you might want is one of these or even some elbow sleeves in case you fall over between loading the weight on if your shoe is untied or some shit.

I've seen a video of a guy doing it with 220kg, it takes some practice but its a natural instinct not to put a heavy weight on your neck.
In this case the wife fucked him, because she pulled the bar to rerack it. Overall pretty retarded to ask a tiny woman to spot you on a 1RM.

There's no interaction with your junk unless your body is really fucking weird. The only real risk is cracking your ribs or bruising your stomach, but that's not an issue unless you're benching far north of 3pl8. There is also technically a risk of the bar freefalling onto you if it rolls out of your hands, but you'd have to be suicide grip ego lifting to accomplish that, and a spotter can't catch that and chances are safeties wouldn't matter either.
The roll of shame is a stupid name for it. It's a technique used by fearless but disciplined chads.
