You've never had a good strawberry in your south-of-the-equator island-dwelling life and I pity you.

Apples and pears need to be A tier at least

That's true, but it's fine if you eat it sparingly. Also, it's excellent in a lot of meals, and that sensation usually disappears after it's cooked.
>>76600314
That is correct. They're invariably either prematurely sour or overripe.

tell me more, I don't think I've ever eaten cooked pineapple other than if there was some in a cake.
Do you just cut it in slices and bake it?

You probably can. I've mostly just had it in sweeter Chinese dishes, like sweet and sour pork, or even just mixing it in with rice - although that's not to everyone's tastes.

oh yeah I'm dumb I've actually eaten it paired with meat a handful of times and it was indeed delicious. Not sure I'd like it with just rice but I'll try it some day

>What are mulberries like?
My best description with reference to more normie fruit would be like some kinda blackberry-raspberry hybrid, although even a little different from that.

Mangosteen is one of my fav fruits. Strongly recommend, go on vacation for Thailand and eat them here, they're local.
Pink guava is also godly, also local.
Yellow/sungold kiwis are nice as well, I've only ever tried imported ones, and they're pretty good, I reckon they're even better in NZ.
Honeysuckle (picrel) is my fav berry. I left Russia almost 20y ago, and I still miss it. I use to eat it a lot as a kid in late summer / early fall.
Gooseberry (red, not green) is really tasty as well, but it's a pita to gather because of all the spikes.

I'm just popping in to say that I'm really proud of the fact that we could actually have a legitimate constructive fruit thread without carnivores and anti-vegetable people popping in, spouting nonsense like they're full of toxin's and oxalates and sugar is bad and plants are killing you. God bless.
Anonymous No.76604675 [Report]

That's probably because most carnis eat fruits on regular basis, if the thread was about vegies you'd have many more schizos

They are just an inferior blackberry, which is an S tier fruit btw all you people putting it low are insane.
Anonymous No.76604692 [Report]
My neighbor had this thornless blackberry bush that had giant excellent berries. I dug up a little shoot of it and planted it in the yard and now I have all the blackberries and also raspberries, figs, and strawberries, I can eat. Good stuff. I wish I lived in one of these tropical type zones where you can grow anything.
