For me, bread is honestly the superior carbs choice but it has to be fresh. Then it is potatoes which I buy in bulk, 10 kilos and they last me for like 2 weeks (if I only cook potatoes). I do not even eat rice at all, it is the hardest to cook and do right - whenever I cook it, I cook it with onion and spinach because it flavors it well but still I greatly prefer bread and potatoes. The issue is that potatoes make me fart a lot. But still if I have to exclude one carb source forever, it would be rice, easily.
