I have been off from gym for half a year and lost like 1kg of muscle mass.

I haven't lifted since thursday and i'm going crazy, how can you even go 5 months. But memes aside how long does it take to actually start losing muscle? I already feel smaller 5 days out of the gym

If YT videos are to be believe it is around 3 weeks when muscle starts to deteriorate. This is assuming you outright don't do anything to stimulate the muscle
If you're feeling small just 5 days out of the gym, most likely that's just inflammation going down
