I hurted my knee last Wednesday, I skipped 2 sessions and the weekend to rest and just today drilling some kneebars it came back, it's the side of the right knee, I fear it could be ligament, what's your take, /fit/docs? I'm not sure how it even happened, right now, I can feel it's still there but not really hurting, is it over for me?

I might go see a real doctor or a physiotherapist

anything involving legs is a no go from me. jits fags are retarded. they are risking their ability to walk normally for the rest of their lives so they can feel superior. its not even the best martial art for self defense

Get an mri and take some time to rest. At least don't drill kneebars like a fucking retard. Do not fuck your knees up for bjj. Signed guy who fucked his knees up doing 15 years of bjj and still going

At the sides of the knee we have ligaments (internal/external), if it hurts it can be that. Compression, anti-inflammatory medication and ice help a lot, but after a few days with the SAME level of pain, you should see a doc.

Doctor/fit/ here,
I prescribe you Ham String Curls and Cossack Squats with low intensity and high reps 3 time a week for the next 6 weeks with 10 pound jumps every week.
also don't participate in knee bar drills for 2 weeks.
You can just tell your coach, "I'll skip this one"
