My doctor told me I should stop taking creatine daily because it can damage my kidneys, is this true?

Creatine doesn't negatively affect healthy kidneys. An old study showed if might further damage an already dysfunctional kidney.
Generally speaking, supplementing creatine will increase urine creatinine. An increase innurine creatinine is usually a marker of kidney malfunction. Your doctor is mistaking cause and effect.

High creatinine is a sign of kindey damage, but is also a natural metabolite of creatine. If your doctor doesn't know you're taking creatine and sees your creatinine levels, they'll think you have failing kidneys. A doctor who primarily serves younger patients and athletes will often ask you upfront if you're taking it

On a similar note, whey protein can, for some reason, skyrocket your markers for liver damage, even if your liver is fine (the numbers go down to normal if you stop for a month)

If by creatine you mean the toxic white powder made with petrochemicals that is marketed as such, then yes, this shit will destroy your organs.
Throw it into the trash immediately and never consume any of it ever again.

Real creatine can only be found in raw meat and raw fish. Stop being a moron and eat your natural diet.

>High creatinine is a sign of kindey damage
Only because most creatine consumption these days comes from these fake and toxic powders that are sold as "creatine".
That's why it's statistically associated.

If you consume real creatine from its natural source (raw meat) it won't harm you in any way.

It's only bad if you took the vax. You probably took it like a good goy so Mr. Shekelstein can earn more money and now Mr. Goldberg doesn't want you to take creatine because it's a risk for his cousin Mr. Shekelstein.

Please, work on your reading comprehension
If your kidneys are failing for any reason, regardless of whether you take creatine or not, your creatinine will be elevated.
It can also be elevated from taking creatine, even if your kidneys are not failing.
So if you're taking creatine, your doctors may think your kindeys are failing even when they're not.

"Muh fake toxic powders" 1) basically don't happen with any halfway reputable brand, because these things are regulated and a food tampering lawsuit will fucking bury your company; and 2) even if it did happen it's entirely irrelevant to this discussion

Zero evidence there is any difference between supplemented creatine and creatine from whole foods. You really shouldn't easily fall for grifter lies.

This. Or if it shows in your work they'll just ask before making a big deal.

How much creatine are you niggers shoveling in your mouths? Im taking like 4 grams every day, ive gotten bloodworks while taking it because i forgot to stop it before the test and creatinine levels were within range for me.

Listen here buddy doctors are just highly paid dancing monkeys the vast majority of which are functionally retarded. The only skill required to be a doctor is being able to parrot bullshit.

this, but if you have medication that already impacts kidney function you probably want to be able to tell from the marker.

I dunno, I don't get regular bloodwork done.

If you have any sort of kidney issue or are taking medication that migjt impact it, you probably shouldn't take creatine. And yrs, if you need a clean reading of those markers, you shouldn't take it either.
I take creatine because I empirically tested that it works for me, but it's not a magic pill nor does it do wonders. It's totally unnecessary for most people (myself included), but getting some extra gains from a cheap supplement is always nice.
