Are neck bridges as dangerous as people say?
For a couple months I've been doing the normal neck exercises that people usually recommend - neck curls and extensions with bw or plates. They work decently enough, but recently I tried doing neck bridges for a few workout sessions and the neck pump was way better. They also seem more time efficient since they workout multiple motions of the neck at the same time without fumbling with plates or a neck harness. I'm thinking of switching to them, maybe by working my way up with easier versions, but I'm worried about destroying myself. Anyone have any experience with neck bridges?

i just meme
>dunno
with 2 light dumbbells - neck is anchor point to muscles responsible for shrugging shoulders, so perfect posture - extended thoracic and double chin for cervical and shoulders straight up and hold this isometric hold for upper traps sternocleidomastoid and dozen other neck muscles
it works, none of my t-shirts fit anymore, some are straight up impossible to wear lol

problem with conventional shrug is that people bob their head forward and thoracic spine is collapsed into flexion cause they use way too much weight and just roll shoulders forward and bob head forward craning their neck and it doesn't work what it's supposed to
i fixed it by mind muscle connecshun to multifidus

>Are neck bridges as dangerous as people say?
yeah, they are also retarded cause u can simply hold dumbbells and shrug and hold and get relevant muscles

Yes. There's a lot of wrestlers and boxers that created neck problems later in life because of bridges they did when they were younger. Spine compression problems. Build the neck by working the muscle while minimizing spine compression.

Fighters have done them for years and continue to do so, I don't see the issue.

Start slowly and DO NOT use the weight of your whole body.
Release all tight muscle and then start light with a neck harness.

double chin kept while holding isometric shrug bot - first thing i noticed was sternocleidomastoid growth, and levator scapulae bot (front of neck and back of neck)

second thing i noticed is that neck pain is gone and it happened here and there with repeated looking back :D
