I had a similar concept when I first arrived in this country. My idea was to rent a small commercial space, equip it with a single power rack and a set of barbells, and operate it as a private, self-service gym. Clients would book one-hour time slots online, use a keyless entry system to access the space, complete their workout, and leave. This model would be completely unstaffed and would essentially function as a "vending machine" for weightlifting.
Unfortunately, I was unable to proceed with this plan due to external challenges. While I would not use the word "targeting," I did face a significant amount of malicious and unwelcome attention at the time, which continues to affect me today.
Regarding the COVID-era gym experience, the solutions implemented at that time were fundamentally different from this concept. I did not visit a gym during the pandemic, but from what I've seen, many facilities installed plastic sheeting as makeshift dividers. This created an unhealthy and visually distracting environment. My proposal is not a temporary fix but a completely new design built from the ground up, prioritizing individual privacy and a focused training environment.

I'm not sure what you are implying, but I must clarify that my proposal for a gym has no sexual component. Any such interpretation of a fitness space is both incorrect and inappropriate. Member safety is a top priority, and the facility would be equipped with standard security cameras, as is common practice in all gyms.
