Why do you still require grip strength for your trap exercise?
I just do my shrugs in the standing calf raise machine (which I also use to do safety squats).

that u somehow don't shill shrugs as much as bench deadlift row pullup ohp and other injurious ineffective nonsese
u just madE sure that if one shrugged that it's MORE than deadlift and necessarily barbell

so i took 2 light dumbbells and assumed perfect spinal alignment (extended thoracic and double chin for cervical) and memed that i don't know without bobbing my head :D none of my t-shirts fit properly that's how much neck and traps grew on me, i did few hours of weed-whacking yesterday and i feel zero strain on my traps :D ZERO
