What's your goals?
If it's to build muscle, you're going to utterly fail.
If it's to lose weight, that'll work but you're essentially wasting time in the gym unless you're just doing cardio.
I know you want to lose weight because you're fat.
I was in that position too like three months ago.
But I promise you if you just cut out the crap and eat good protein, veggies, some creatine and lots of water and fruits you will feel great and I swear on all things your muscles going going to look bigger.
You will absolutely not care about your excess fat because it's being recompositioned into a better body.
Only when you go on a cut will you care about calories and it's going to suck because food is good.
Forever bulk.
Forever lift.
I say this with my sage 3 month of wisdom.
Just hit yer muscles twice a week.
It's okay to take more rest days.
Fitness is about diminishing returns.

Probably not when you're cutting that steep. I'd keep it to 10% under tdee 150-300 kcal daily deficit. So you can actually get proper nutrition in there and not make things potentially worse trying to rush things.

Goal is to lose fat and try to keep most muscle doing it. I was hoping to hit 175lbs by end of year. After that I'd increase my calorie intake to get bigger musclewise. Im 5'7 210 right now. I've never been fit so just winging it honestly

How did your weight change over 3 months? What did you do besides eat better?

My weight has not changed at all.
I just keep looking better and lifting heavier.
I've gotten my sleep under control so my gains are absolutely maximized. But nothing serious. Twice a week, an hour-long full body workout using basic bitch lifts.
Squat, deadlift, chess press, seated row, overhead tricep, bicep curl, and whatever core exercise you want. I do cable woodchoppers.
I've recently added in farmer's carries for grip strength.
I've been getting my supplements in too to make sure my body has everything it needs because my diet sometime falters.
Creatine and Whey Protein Powder for performance
Ground Chia Seeds and Psyllium husk for fiber
Collagen complex, Vitamin D2+K3, Multivitamin, Omega 3 for general health
Glycine, Magnesium Glycinate, and Tart Cherry Extract for sleep and recovery

If your goal is to lose weight while keeping muscle, you can just hit every muscle once every two weeks and get your protein in.
I'm completely serious.
You're at a good weight to lift though. I've hovered between 204-207 for the past three months and just keep looking stronger and fitter.

You can unironically ask chatGPT for more information.
Nothing I listed is esoteric information, it's all pretty well studied.
Eat good.
Sleep good.
Hydrate Good.
Exercise Good.
Age-old advice that has been time-proven.
If it takes modern technology and methods to arrive at that conclusion so it means something to you, then by all means go for it.

I highly suggest NOT cutting (don't necessarily bulk either), you don't have much muscle, so you will lose a lot of weight but you will end up skinnyfat instead of just fat which is arguably worse.

Eat well, sleep well, train well. After at least 6 months, you can consider cutting a bit, but don't overdo it yet until you get more muscle. Of course try and gamify your lifting, track sets reps weight, try to progress each session, get a decent program (full body 2/3x a week or upper lower 4x are good choices). Focus on basics but don't neglect any muscles.

Best advice from my personal experience is also make sure you're having fun, especially if you plan to try and get very far. Better to do a less than optimal lift or program which is fun for you than vice-versa
