Also the answer to your question is drink water when you feel hungry, and dont try to ignore the pain of hunger, but focus on it and turn it into a game. I was a fat fuck and thats how it worked for me.

I bet that your cardio was just walking, in which case of course just two hours a day3000kcal a day is still way too much, nothing to do with your metabolism slowing down or any other stupid bullshit you dreamed up.
Cardio is more of an accessory for weight loss, the main thing is always to just eat less
