Alcohol = Gains goblin
Am I exaggerating or is it literally impossible to make serious gains if you drink alcohol?

And I don't mean being a fucking alcoholic, I mean like a six pack once a week. Alcohol gotta be the worst gains goblin ever

When i was younger I could drink every night and lift the next morning and I didnt get fat and made decent gains. When I stopped drinking it was a game changer, I got leaner, stronger bigger. Its a total gains goblin but its not the end of the world. Now that im older I can't drink or it makes me fat in a hurry.

Wonder what the fuck happened to me. During the pandemic I was 22 years old and I used to heavily drink like three times a week. I'm talking about beer, rum, whiskey, gin, etc.

I was pretty lean and in great shape. Now at 27 I don't even come close to my old physique and if I drink a six pack on the weekend my whole physique gets fucking ruined.

alcohol lowers T, reduces muscle protein, synthesis, causes you to excrete valuable nutrients, dehydrates you and ruins sleep. if you could give someone the ultimate anti-fitness supplement it would be alcohol

Weed is bad because it can make you okay with being where are in life. It makes you okay with being bored when you should be doing something to make yourself grow.

It’s great however for physical fitness. It enhanced mind muscle connection, alleviates pain, makes bulking easy and makes lifting heavy feel psychedelic.

It’s a double edge sword, but I feel an overall slight benefit.

It’s also cheap as fuck in Florida. I can get eighths of 30% THC flower for 15 bucks.

Not really. There are plenty of extremely strong/fit men out there who drink. This seems to rear its head constantly as a discussion subject. Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw both drink. No, they aren’t clubbing every weekend off their nut or getting up in the morning and chugging box wine but it clearly didn’t affect their “gains” . Pro football and rugby teams will drink in the off season. People like it

This doesn’t mean that alcohol is good for you but if you have a few drinks every now and again it isn’t going to hurt

Alcohol will have no effect on muscle growth. I've used it to numb my feet that were hurting on long hikes but i don't recommend it for numbing muscle to push it further. Alcohol can make you sloppy and you could hurt yourself. Watch your calorie intake from beer. a lot of it has to do with your age. men gro muscle not boys.
