I don’t wipe down the equipment. not because I’m lazy but so that others associate my scent with their gains, giving me gains even when I am not in the gym. They recognize my scent and think of me while they build muscle, allowing me to absorb their gains psychologically

When I was in elementary school there was this retarded girl who was maybe about the age of a 6th grader but in there with us in 4th. She was just generally the annoying kind of retarded but she wasn't in-your-face about it so nobody really disliked her or anything. She never seemed out of control.
Anyway one day there's this huge ruckus and shit going on out in the hallway. Lots of teachers freaking out and shit. Class goes on as normal but the next time we left the room, we saw that the bottom panel of one of the glass doors to the outside was smashed out. We asked about that and teacher told us tard girl had a meltdown and kicked it out. Even as young kids we were like "wat" and the teacher went on to say that it had been very very strong glass and all of the adults were genuinely flabbergasted that she had been able to do that. Fucking wild. Never saw her again.

I wonder if the recovery on rest days is impeded by watching/reading fitness related content. It's very enjoyable to see people actually doing hard workouts which clearly is not happening in my gym. But maybe watching that puts me in some kind of heightened state of alertness that conflicts with recovery.

Once did some building work on a new-build "mental health facility" (looney bin). One of the things I had to do was fit extra strong security/wired glass into the various reception booths, and fit dome shaped door knobs (same diameter throughout, so sits flush to the door) otherwise if the inmates could wrap their fingers around them and would rip them clean off the doors.
