0,5/mg fin + topical min morning/evening every day.
My temples were thinning FAST in my early twenties but I managed to save it. Well into my late twenties now with my mane intact.
My advice depending on your current hair state

Best time to start if you wanna save all of your hair. Fin doesn't do anything for your temples (in my experience), it's only really for the crown and the overall fullness of your hair. I'd start with 0,5 mg and only up it to 1mg if you experience serious hair loss around your crown.
Use min around your scalp to save your temples. I also use a headband to further isolate the solution and prevent it from trickling down. IMO this is the single most important area for your overall looks. Having thin/bald temples has a huge (negative) visual impact.

Not an optimal starting point but not too late. You might have to spread out your min depending on how much hair you've lost.

It's over. Hair transplant with an eventual transition into fin/min depending on your doctor's recommendation.
Not saying min/fin won't work but most of the time your hair will end up looking like it's not quite full but also not completely bald. It just ends up looking like some health condition. Not good.
>Just go bald bro
Don't listen to them. Going bald is the single most detrimental thing you can do to your overall looks unless you're in the 99th percentile. You'll end up looking old and unattractive.
You can save it. Other than dry skin from the min (due to the glycol in the solution) I haven't had any side effects. It's all in your head. I always assumed that the few people who suffer from sides are faggots with defective genes. If you're a healthy male specimen then you're fine.
I wouldn't have gotten close to the amount of attention from women I get at this age if I was bald/balding. Claiming anything else is cope.
