I'm starting to think that vast majority of /fit/ doesn't exercise.

Why would ppl on a fitness board not excercise?

Why do anons on teevee not watch tv? They just bait, respond to bait. Talk about race and polydicks.

For some it's analysis paralysis, they exercising is a waste of time if they aren't experts at it already. They only want to put in the effort once they're certain that they're doing things the right way. For others, this "preparation" already feels like being productive and working towards their goal, again, without putting in any real effort. Theory is simply easier than practice.

It isn't so much a fitness board as it is a meme board related to fitness. I lift, but I don't come here for any serious discussion or advice. I come here to laugh at the stupid shit that gets posted.

I used to think that /fit/ was bad for years but holy shit does it feel like an abandoned shithole ever since 2023. It doesn't feel like anyone lifts anymore.

It's just super slow and the only dedicated posters left are the most cancerous ones.

I think the site has been altered. I think they have isolated people into groups where it's 20:1 bot to human ratio. They want to break us down, make us leave.

Slow? It only takes around 5 years until you can consider yourself /fit/

That shit will fucking kill you, dumbass. We're just here to analyze if you were to do it, hypothetically, what might be the most efficient means.

I haven’t played a video game in like a decade and I regularly post on /v/ because I still find video games interesting and I would play them if I had the time and attention. Talking about them is like the best I can do since I don’t play them. I do lift tho

The anti-cardio trend has killed any faith I I'm had in this board.

You don't see jacked people walking around with 6 packs everywhere because it's really hard to exercise for a long time consistently. There aren't many people like that.
What there are many of are people who are trying to get into exercising and people who don't exercise consistently and are perpetually at a beginners stage.
I reckon /fit/'s demographics match those of real life, so there are a few people here who have been exercising for years, but most of the posters either haven't started, recently started, or recently started exercising again at beginner level.
