gj man but dont even think about 225 yet, I used to focus on progressing in OHP a lot when I was starting since its one of the most fun lifts + looks very effective but progressing on it becomes slow as fuck after 1pl8 for most ppl, after I hit 1pl8 Ive barely progressed 10-15kg in almost a year.

Do more high volume push pressing as an accessory lift to train your stamina along with your strength. Most of you faggots never seem to recommend doing both and sticking just to hard style lifting. Even the military Ammo Box lift maintained a push press as a valid rep for above the head lift so its a good idea to build strength and endurance for it like that.

How hard was it to go from a 2pl8 1rm to working sets? I have no spotter and am scared to try 1rms with bench, I did 3x5 @ 190lbs today though. Repping 2pl8 is my big goal.

The trick is delt biased bench/incline, and no tris super light mp narrow grip, faux neutral grip, and reverse. Delts are already similar to forearms in that they only grow hard muscle so going for hyperteophy 90% of the time hasnt failed me yet and since its easy to get injured i have no issue just training for strength after bench day.

Take a picture of your belly. Then when you hit 2pl8s, post those pictures side by side.
