He makes a good point. If you want to look big and not like an inverted dorito you NEED to do the big 3

Usually it holds you back significantly via cns fatigue and stealing protein from your liver that would normally go to upper body. No your liver doesnt infinitely produce protein then itd be impossible to get drunk like youre wolverine and im professor x.

I love squatting and deadlifting. Unfortunately i snapped my back just a coupke days ago (buttwinked and herniated lumbar). Today i cant bend over without pain and mobility is ass. I dont want to give up on the lifts but i seem to be too stupid to figure put proper form

Injury rates are extremely low. I have never hurt myself in years of doing them.

They're not

>I have never hurt myself
Doesn't mean other people don't, nor does it mean that disc degeneration doesn't happen when doing these exercises

Ok weakfriend let's ask

>Injury rates for squats and deadlifts are low compared to many sports:

>Squats/Deadlifts: ~0.3–1.0 injuries per 1,000 hours

>Running: ~2.5–12.0 injuries per 1,000 hours

>Soccer: ~6.0–9.0 injuries per 1,000 hours

>CrossFit: ~2.1–3.1 injuries per 1,000 hours

What about the severity of injury?
Anonymous No.76719232 [Report] >>76719970
>>76718954
First off, I don't know where you're getting this data and you're an uppity nigger.

Second, the damage from these 2 exercises is cumulative and degenerative, you don't need an impactful ACKing injury for them to be damaging over the long run, though they also make people ACK their shit suddenly.

Look up what "axial loading of the spine" is and why doing that is not conductive to long-term back health
Anonymous No.76719454 [Report]
i thought strongmen didn't squat though
Anonymous No.76719468 [Report]

that means fewer people hogging up the barbells and squat racks

>>76718954
not the guy you responded to, but lmfao if you think a running injury is comparable to a lifting injury.
>>76716339 (OP)
I was able to deadlift lmfao6plates and didn't look big.
Anonymous No.76719485 [Report]
For deadlifts I do slow reps with 90lbs total. I still feel my back getting bigger and it seems pretty safe so idk

Guess what lifting isn't bad for your joints
Maybe next talk about how it stunts your growth

Alright tardo I asked GPT and it estimated 20% do no deadlifts
Anonymous No.76722919 [Report]
>>76718763
all true, we should do lifts that actually strengthen the back
