So I decided to try using onion juice on my head. I'll apply it to my scalp twice a week for ~15 minutes, then just wash with regular shampoo. I'm not yet sure how much juice I'll use, I hope one onion will be ok per session. I plan to use red onions as the sources I found say they are best.
In case its not clear, I hope my hair will grow back.

Anyone tried this before? Any advice?

Ditch the onions. Use oral finasteride/dutasteride and topical minoxidil.

Minoxidil is an over the counter drug
To get finasteride you need to see a dermatologist first
There is no risk with using them. If you are part of the 1% that get side effects you can quit or lower the dose to get acclimatised

I actually only wash them once now but thought you need to apply the onions more often than that. Chatgpt said 2-3 times a week so I went with the lower end.

My brother used to do it long ago (he believes in all alternative hippie bullshit).
I cannot tell for sure if it worked because his hairs is not good, but he did a buzzcut recently and his hairline, which was covered for years. didn't recede as we expected all in the family.
