no because doing something in moderation inherently means doing so in a way that it doesnt mess up your gains. realistically for alcohol to have absolutely 0 impact on your gains the maximum you could drink would be something like 2 glasses of wine a week, preferably on different days. if you drink more than this it will reduce your gains but you can still make gains while drinking. if you drink heavily it will have a larger negative impact on your gains than pretty much anything else unless you are doing heroin as well or something.

It depends on the volume consumed and the frequency, but once a week or so I'd say is fine. Personally I go out from time to time and have gotten ass from being fit, because why put all this work and time into building a car, if youre not gonna take it out and get a few mires. Don't ever stop working out and trying, but life is meant to be lived, nobody ever sat dying and thought about wishing they'd spent more time lifting... just do that part earlier in the day.

Depends largely how it affects your sleep. Everytime I go to sleep drunk or even with just a couple beers my SpO2 stat falls to like apnea levels. Which then affects my hormones. Zero differnce if I drink mid day and don't go to be drunk.

Ignore the sober faggots responding to this. The research says 0.5g of alcohol per kilogram of bodyweight per day does not impact muscle protein synthesis. For me, thats 3 beers, for manlets and women about 2 beers. 1g/kg (4-6 beers) is about 10-15% reduction in MPS, >2g/kg (8-12 beers) caps out at about 40% reduction.

Alcohol is overly stigmatized in fitness circles, probably because of retarded ex-alcoies that can't handle a single drop. Just don't be an idiot and slam a 750 and eat 3000kcals of fried slop like normalfags.

Drink alcohol fasted and with no carbs. Like skip dinner. Drink hard liquor with a diet soda mixer or water even. Don't eat any carbs when you're hung over. In fact, try not to eat anything at all except water.

Carbs+alcohol is the worst; but any food really.
