How long does it take you to go through one of these?
I just bought a 5 pound bag from costco. I want to aim to consistently eat a scoop a day and lean bulk over the next year.

5 lbs at 1 scoop a day would probably last you like 2 1/2 months. You could mix it with a pint of whole milk and gain 0.7 to almost 1 pound of fat if you didn't exercise. If you are cutting, it can help a little wirh not losing muscle, but you're going to want more for bulking, even if you're going really slow. Maybe add some eggs to your diet, at the very least.

i dont take this garbage anymore (spend little more for better), but i used to take 3-4 scoops a day for lean bulking in a 250g protein/day diet. ur never gonna bulk with 1 scoop unless ur diet is extremely good, which i doubt. you will stay the same for a very long time until you realize you have wasted ur time as do with most ppl.

whatever it takes to meet my protein goal, theres days i cba cooking meat so the entire day my protein will come from mainly whey, egg, milk, cheese, some nuts.
in those cases i can easily choose to get ~70 g protein from whey, its very convenient.
1 scoop a day (32g) is gonna last u 3 months

NTA, but I only use it supplement my protein intake, I don't use it as a primary source so 2 scoops is pretty normal for me. If it were my primary source I'd need like 6 scoops.

Vanilla really seems to be a hit or miss flavor. Latest one I got I can eat but it really is not that good. Going to have try using it with my creami and see if it works better frozen.

I do 8 scoops a day so not long. I actually only recently learned each scoop is 25g of protein.. I thought it was 2 scoops for that, so I've been taking two scoops before and after workouts (I workout once in the morning and once in the evening) and apparently consuming 200g of protein from powder alone... but I've also never made gains faster in my life, so..

None a what I'd call good, especially when mixed with water they're all underwhelming. Mixing it with whole milk improves the flavor immensely. I've tried all the flavors, and again none are what I'd call good or something I'd be drinking for the flavor alone, but I found the most palatable to be white chocolate and cookies & cream, neither of which taste like what they're trying to be, which can be a good or bad thing depending on how much you like white chocolate, but they're also lacking the offensively artificial flavors that you get with the other options namely the other chocolate and vanilla flavors, so as long as you're going in not expecting it to actually taste like white chocolate or oreos they're both serviceable.

2 scoops is not a lot at all. I'm new to the gym and do 2-3 a day at 6ft 1 and 85kg but back in school a friend would have 4 a day and he was only 6ft 3 and like 100kg max. Well I'm Dutch and that's pretty normal, I guess maybe smaller people can't handle 2 scoops but I doubt it. I've been abroad, I've seen 5ft 3 guys fill eat and drink more than me. You just have a small stomach or you're trying to drink it with meals. Have it in between so you have an empty stomach to work with.
Just double checking how many ml of milk are you adding? I have with 750ml of milk, maybe you're trying it with a litre or more and that's the issue?

Casein and whey are both protein. Milk protein's about 80% casein 20% whey. Casein takes longer to digest, slow release, anticatabolic.

no. it's not. you need 1g protein per lb of target body weight. so for most people that's about 200.
so if you take 6 servings that puts you at 144g. which is actually brilliant because it just works out then that whatever dirty but protein heavy dinner you eat will bring you to protein target for the day. which makes it really convenient and simple to follow.

yea. I've been cutting at 3200 calories daily. and protein is the most thermogenic so it's like you get a 20% caloric discount. but also excess protein can't get converted to fat. it can only become muscle or energy.
1100 of my daily caloric intake is 6 servings whey protein + 20 oz pomegranate juice. I split both of those up once in the morning after working out and once in the evening before going to bed.
my routine is 35 mins cardio (3.75 miles) followed by squat, romanian deadlifts, bench, pullups and dips. 4x12 70-80% max weight. 5 days a week.
