How much water weight do (You) typically regain after a cut? I'm most of the way through mine and according to my smart scale I've lost 3.8 pounds of LBM and 11.8 pounds of fat. I've barely lost any strength so I assume at maintenance I'll get most of that LBM back as glycogen.

I started cutting two days ago and i was roughly 4 pounds lighter after the first day which is about what i had estimated o gained water from my "bulk"

Yeah i went a little lower than intended but i also like to jump start a cut with a really hard fasted workout out and quitting mj while just focusing on protein intake

Im not following an exact diet atm but im working on one i will start next week which is higher carb. Maintenance is roughly 2500ish, more or less. Right now im getting less calories and carbs than i will be starting next week. What do you think?

Also chatbot told me to cut at 2100 but i decided to start a little lower. It also tells me to cut another 300 cals after 6 weeks. I may do that or i may try to just slpwly push myself to run harder and do kettlebells after my normal lifts.

I'm fortunate in that my metabolism has always been pretty good. I'm not a big guy and only do minimal biking and walking on a cut but my maintenance is about 2800 and I'm eating 2300 or 2400. I go about 50% carbs/25/25 on fat and protein.

I kinda fucked up my last cut in a lot of ways, but i felt so shitty toward the end, i think because my fat and carbs had been so low for so long. So im afraid to go too low on carbs and fat. Just kinda made a somewhat arbitrary meal plan bases on some things i like to eat desu. When i need to cut more i will take out the granola bar and one or both eggs and go on for at tge most one more month.

Typically, how long do you usually cut and how many pounds are shed by the end?

I am nearly five months deep into this one and I'm starting to get tired of undereating but I mostly feel pretty normal. I'm about 13.5% body fat and aiming for 12ish or maybe a little lower if I need more to really bring the lower abs out. This is my first real cut after doing a two year (retarded) period of bulking and then maintaining. Didn't really know what I was doing so I got pretty strong (over 1/2/3/4 on ohp/bench/squat/DL) but also put on too much fat. I started at 169 lbs and 19% body fat

No, for the last month or so I've actually added a little fruit. You can track your metabolism with waking and midday (after meal) body temp. Most people are in the low 97s or worse on waking because so many people have broken metabolisms. I wake up around 98 still and hit 99 midday pretty regularly
