At 6’1 barefoot, I’m not the tallest guy, but I stand above 90% of people.
Quite often I find in social situations people will lie about their height. Someone who is definitely not 6ft claiming to be 6ft or over.
I used to just let it slide, but now it annoys me, so if someone shorter than me claims 6ft and is obviously lying, I’ll say I’m 5’11. It’s amusing.
My question is, how do you deal with these type of people?

you laugh and go about your life. anyone insecure enough to lie about their height is miserable without you putting in any extra effort

also why is it even being brought up? i've been in hundreds of social situations and never once had a conversation about exactly how many inches tall everyone is. zoomers skullfucked by social media?

In the US you self-report your height in most places, they generally only start measuring shit when they feel like something is sus, but more often than not they'll just write it down as is. So it's pretty common to add a few inches to your height without any consequences.

Im so big I cant do ultra widegrip bench and im pretty sure i have a 7ft deadlift bar not the short bench bar which i havent seen since i started lifting a while back.

The biggest shit that sucks is machines are all narrow grip, whoch i actually prefer but like wide grip btb so no machine can really get the fibers im trying to hit. I think thats a big reason shorter guys usually get better gains besides lifting seriously in middle school and developing good technique. Then again you wont see a lot of jacked tall guys because nobody feels bad for tall guys and they figure why even lift.

I do the opposite thing but with my dick.

I'm a manlet, like 170cm on a good day and the amount of people shorter than me claiming 175cm or people at my height claiming 178cm is very frequent.
Women also claiming they are 170cm when I'm a head taller is also very common.
Normies are very delusional and it's funny to put them on the spot when they lie about their height, I always call them out on it jokingly, going near them, telling them to stand up so we can compare heights etc

You know short peoples elbows go way less bent and bottom rom bench is all delts right? And its not even proportions its just the longer your arm is.

Thats why "properly lifting" tall people usually have more shield chest and big delts vs the thick chest of a short person. You can just use wide grip to powerlift and not go as low also thats always an option if youve never idk flexed your muscle and felt it at different roms.

I'm legitimately 6'3 but I change it if I catch you lying. If you claim 6'0+ and you're clearly not, I'll say I'm 6'0 so everyone knows you're a fraud. If you're short and own it though I'll try to be like "nah you're at least 5'11, I'm 6'3 and you're not much shorter than me" even if you clearly are.
