They look normal. Most men just rarely see women without makeup and nowadays filters. It's nothing new, tbqhon, I know a boomer couple where the wife to this day gets up before her husband to do her makeup because he's literally never seen her bare face in his entire life. Many women do look pretty bad without makeup because the makeup itself ruins their skin, like, it makes them break out, but they cover it with even more makeup which in turn makes them break out even more. This shit is honestly the reason why so many men say they like natural women, but then unironically show you a woman with a full face of makeup.

Fun fact, the same can be said about warm tits, btw, most women are insecure about the shape of their breasts (especially nips) when they're warm, so they pinch them before showing them to their bf/husband this way they firm up, as if they're cold.

I mean, I think she looks better without it just because I don't like the white face thing, but, bro, that's just what average women look like without makeup. I think you're just used to seeing them with painted faces 24-7.

The makeup thing there is just not true anymore, it's not the 90s or the 80s where it's just poison and the burning means it's working and you're supposed to take noxima pads and scrape them into your skin. Or use the Saint-Ive Scrub and just absolutely rub off 10 layers of skin. I did think that a lot of women use way too many active ingredients, way too many different acids, all at once so many products, it's ridiculous. But it doesn't actually damage your skin that much anymore, whatsoever. There might be some foundations and concealers that are very heavy and aggressive on skin, but generally speaking, it doesn't cause acne anymore. Unless they are just gross and have poor hygiene and never wash their face or do the actual skin care part.

women who look visibly worse without make up is due to excessive use of make up. typically once they start wearing some they will need to keep it up. and they'll eventually notice skin damage which leads to them using a little bit more. their face suffers from more damage now etc.

Girl, no, it still does it. It primarily applies to people with oily skin, even wearing basic ass sunscreen can result in breakouts because it covers pores which in turn traps sebum and may result in annoying pimples here and there. Now add foundation and concealer to the mix. If you have shitty acne prone skin, they will absolute make things infinitely worse. Derms literally tell you to stop using makeup if that's the case, but very few actually do that, so it becomes a vicious circle, you have pimples, you wear makeup to cover those, you get more pimples, you wear makeup to cover those, etc.

Then how come any time I see this claim made, I see plenty of people with years invested who clearly do wear makeup all the time and then show their skincare routines say, if you're getting acne as a result of your makeup, it's because you're not washing your face, you're not doing any kind of skincare and you're just slathering your mom's ancient powder and cake foundation on top?

Oh my god, are you some high effort femcel or what? Just because you have perfect for makeup normal to dry-ish skin doesn't mean that everyone else has it. And no, "oil control" skin care does fuckall for actually oily skin, it's a meme perpetuated by people with normal skin that's only slightly oily because even dry skin produces sebum, you literally can't change you skin type, it's a thing you're born with, you just work around it for your entire life.

So then what you're saying is make up is only a problem that makes skin worse for a Specific group, but not a majority?
Anonymous No.76737654 [Report] >>76737665
>>76737638
That's literally what I've been saying from the very beginning. You know when I was talking about makeup and breakouts, I said many and not all. Oily skin is the most common skin type, up to 65% of people have, varies by ethnicity tho. And oily skin on its own without any makeup or sunscreen or whatever is prone to developing comedones, anything you layer on top, even as simple as propping your chin on your hand, will result in more of that bs.

I thought literally every single dermatologist and anyone who says anything about taking care of your skin aside from fruitcakes insist you need to wear sunscreen every single day that you go outside?
Anonymous No.76737683 [Report] >>76737714
>>76737665
Yes, even I despite having oily skin also wear sunscreen every day, but to not get as many pimples from it I typically have a small bottle of micellar water and some cotton pads on me to remove it when I'm, let's say, in the office, I reapply it before going outside again in case it's still sunny outisde. But I don't wear much makeup because I get soooooo many closed comedones from that. I wear lipstick and maybe some eye/brow makeup, that's it.
It's all about balance, you win some, you lose some, you can't have a cake and eat it too.

HUH I'm supposed to be wearing sunscreen every time I go outside? And if it makes me have acne, then I'm supposed to wear it outside, and then whenever I get where I'm going I wipe it off, and before I go back outside I put it back on? This all sounds very expensive for something I didn't realize was an issue at all
Anonymous No.76737721 [Report] >>76737751
>>76737714
Sunscreen is a preventative measure, even tho you pay money upfront you're still saving a lot of money on treating cosmetic bs like melasma and whatnot or, worse, treating some serious bs like skin cancer which is a problem if you're white and live in a sunny place. And let's be real decent sunscreens aren't even expensive in the first place.

So if I am white and I live in the northeast in the United States, is the sun actually strong enough that I need to wear it if I'm just going on a walk that's less than a mile?
Anonymous No.76737764 [Report] >>76737796
>>76737751
Honestly, depends on how much time you're spending outside and how bad the UV index is in your area. I live in tropical climate, UV index easily goes up to 10 and even higher, but even here I don't bother with sunscreen if I'm going outside for like less than 20 minutes, but if I'm going to be in the sun for 30 minutes or longer then I'll 100% use sunscreen.
