I have no irl male friends. Finding women to fuck is easy because of dating apps. Finding men to be friends with is hard outside of the internet. I am considering going to the gym and working out in the hopes of making other male friends. Does this work in your experience?

No. People will be generally friendly, but most just go to the gym to lift. It's not impossible to make a friend at the gym, but it's way more likely for that to happen at work or at college/school.
