Zoomers have the highest steroid use of any demographic. They're 18-25 and the 7th leading cause of total mortality is steroid use in America since 2024. The ones on roids will vet big chests no matter what. The idea that you should model your workouts over people that can't stop dropping dead in Saunas at 22 is absurd.

If someone in their 20s has a heart attack that isn't attributable to genetic defect then it's obviously steroid use. The fact that heart disease was the 2,811th cause of death among 18-25 year olds and is now the 7th should be telling. As is the fact that amongst Gen Z gym goers experience much more elevated rates (2,286x more likely to experience) than non gymgoers, which has never been observed and isn't true is any other country on earth for 18-25 year olds, is telling.

It's steroid use. I've had 2 zoomers die in my gyms sauna this year. That has never happened before. Both had shrines made with pictures at my gym. Both are instragram influences obviously juicing.

The people who say benching is bad are roidmonkeys and niggers who are on so much test that they'd get Arnold tier pecs from just doing jumping jacks. Their only goal is to rage bait you as a means to engagement farm.

Benching is a full body exercise that will turn you into an athlete. I am filled with sadness when I see flabby young gymrats who will stay small because all they do is isolation exercises that might hit your pecs 10% harder than bench but will leave the rest of your body and overall strength and athleticism severely lacking.

Arch deloads the pecs while working in as much of everything else as possible while getting as much leverage as you can. Cool for moving a lot of weight. Shit for training the pecs.

Stop arching. Start using a flat back. Keep your ribs down and contract your abs to stabilize. Allow protraction of the shoulder instead of just locking it in place. You'll have to drop weight at first. But you'll end up loading the pecs better while minimizing all the back, connective tissue, legs, etc from the lift.
