I have really close friends like that. Sometimes, a friendship can be a bit like a "relationship", but no matter how close it is it's never gay if it's not sexual in any way and there are no romantic feelings involved.

Didn't say I needed contact, I get by fine. But for a wedding you're expected to have groomsmen and shit. It's a humiliation ritual if you're not loaded with friends. Every part of it is some friend boast: the stag party, wedding photos, best man, grooms party, speeches.

My wife is more of a normie so had her side sorted and I just had no stag, brother best man, family speeches. Hated it all and it borderline ruined what should be a great day because I was anxious over what a fucking loser I looked like the entire day.
