In October 2024 I started fasting really hard. 700 calories every 36 hours. I basically waited until I was in horrible pain to eat.
Then, I'd eat some grilled chicken. I only drank water too, completely cutting out sugar.
By January 2025, I was down to 200lbs.
I told one of my friends about my diet, he was on the wrestling team. He said, "I'm surprised you're even able to walk still."
He suggested I do intermittent fasting instead. Eat from 12pm to 8pm. I started doing that instead. Felt good.
I started going to the gym with another friend. 3 times a week. I would mostly lift weights but I would do a mile on the treadmill too for cardio.
I went to the gym consistently for 5 months, only drank water, watched my protein. By the end, I was 230lbs again. Still am.
I only started gaining my weight back once I started doing things, "The right way."
It was better when I was starving myself. Do you think I should try that again, because I'm about too.
I am so demotivated. I thought that 2025 would be my year, I was looking forward to it. But I'm right back where I started.
This is the hardest I actually tried to lose weight in my life, and I only gained.
