My leg routine right now is

>3x12 squats
>3x12 deadlifts
>3x12 lunges
>3x12 calf raises

Can I get aesthetic legs with this alone or do I need to add more? Also unrelated but will getting thicker, more muscular legs improve your cardio or are the two totally separate?

Also forgot to answer. Your leg muscles aren't your heart muscles genius. You aren't a horse. There's only one way to train cardio....by doing cardio.

If you're a woman: less lunges, more step ups.
If you're a man: heavier deads, heavier everything really, cut the lunges.

you're gonna fry your cns if you're pulling real weight. In fact, if you don't care about strength at all you should do RDLs or good mornings.
Even with squats you can drop it to 3x6-8.

There is no way you're doing this with anything close to 3pl8, so no you'll never have aesthetic legs
Move deadlifts to another day and replace it with some abductor work, squat everything high bar ATG if possible and ditch lunges for walking ones

I alternate weeks, doing lower one day a week. On that day I do either deadlifts or squats, and then blast arms for an hour.

Scoff all you want, but I'm getting steady strength gains and that's all I care about for lower. At some point I'll probably eventually get calves and hip thrusts in somewhere too.
