What is your idea of PL training even like?
I feel like a lot of you just watched Westside v the World and assumed that's what every good powerlifter looks like even thought that's far from the truth
Equipped + untested powerlifting was a different beast altogether where people were encouraged to get as big as possible to get maximum compression out of their bench shirts and squat suits.
That simply doesn't happen anymore.
All top powerlifters who compete in a capped wieght class are lean and look amazing.
Being fat instead of being more muscular is a huge net negative. Fat isn't contractile tissue and it can't help you lift a weight as much as pure muscle does.
I'm very certain I'm leaner and stronger than you. Modern PL training is all about hitting your SBDs and then doing a ton of bodybuilding work (*dae powerbuild???*) to add muscle to one's frame
