Sleep Fitness
>sleep in hotel bed during vacation
>feel refreshed after just 5 hours of sleep
>sleep in my own bed
>8+hrs and still feel like complete dogshit
What the fuck is going on?
I sleep in the same position in either situation, with the same setup even.

I've wasted so much money on supplements that do nothing, and pillows, and mattresses I don't know wtf to do.

Try floor sleeping. Anyone who's tried it even for a week reports life-changing improvements to the quality of their sleep.
You might have to buy a futon, which isn't all that expensive, and have to hang it every other day, but besides that it's a great improvement in sleep quality.
There are some downsides like the floor needing to be spotless and even then you may get itchy from the dust.

The cause is most likely psychological, though.
When you're away from home you're disconnecting about your everyday worries and obligations and that allows you to relax.
As soon as you return home, you're in an environment that you associate with your daily problems and sources of stress.

Your problem is mostly about your lifestyle. You aren't secure enough financially or lack social support and encouragement.

Your bed and/or room is dirty. The only difference between your bed/room and a hotel bed/room is that they're freshly made up and steam cleaned and all kinds of stuff like that. Put your pillow and sheets through the wash with a softener sheet and spray some Febreze in the room and open your window to air out your room.

No they haven't. Take it from a guy whose slept most of my life on the floor and bought a expensive mattress after getting my first real job, mattresses are significantly better.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying
Anonymous No.76803812 [Report]
>>76802068 (OP)
One thing that is actually very significant that people dont pay attention to is the firmness of the mattress. All mattresses will eventually lose its original firmness so over time you are basically sleeping on a lower quality different mattress. The poor man's solution to this is to just flip the mattress over and extend its life.
But you do need to buy new ones over time. I know that sucks but it is what it is.

What's going on is youre retarded.
1. The answer is sleep cycles, ive had 8 hours where I feel like shit and 4 hours where I felt fine, it all depends on the cycle you wake up in, if you wake up whilst in deep sleep you will feel like you just chugged cough syrup.
2. You do not sleep better in an unknown environment. Evolutionarily when you sleep in a new place for the first time, your brain does not shut down entirely when sleeping. This used to protect us against predators.

I sleep on the floor like a penitent monk right now because I moved and can't afford a mattress. Let me tell you: If I had a mattress, I would sleep so much better. I side sleep and I wake up with knee pain, and wobbling like a newborn deer while I hobble to the bathroom to take a piss.

Lol, that thing it does automatically? please stop trying to save face. A google search could have saved you from looking like a slack jawed mongoloid, your opinion means nothing cause I know youre just an emotional fag who responds by taking out your ass. Maybe do a deep dive on evolution. As it musta skipped your line. Also how does my cock taste simpleton?

I think there's actually just something to sleeping in a new place. I periodically move my bed to a different spot in my room for this reason. Even just flipping around where you have your head and feet makes a difference.

Has nothing to do with the bed. The you’re on vacation so the normal stresses of life don’t apply, you get better sleep because you don’t need to work or whatever the next day. You sleep like shit at home because you are stressed and have obligations

Like I said, both have an AC. I clean my ACs and ducts somewhat often.
Air Quality sensors say everything is fine, yet I slept better on a hospital bed.

You were on vacation and that could have been the cause. If you want to test it again, find hotels near you, spend a night in them and see if you sleep better. If it happens in all of them, there is something wrong with your bedroom or it's because you slept in a new place. If it happens in some of them, note what is different between each of them and the ones where it happened and your bedroom. If it happens in none of them, there was something different in the vacation's hotel or it was because you were on vacation itself.

because you dont have to worry about waking up at a certain time on vacation.
At home you have work
>i need to sleep at a certaij time to ensure proper slee
>i need to wake up on time to make it to work with 15-30minutes to spare
>all while doing this you need to be relaxed enough to get 8 hours or more of sleep
and then you spend 4 of those hours tossing, turning and pissing

This
Slept on the floor for years, both with and without padding underneath. And sleeping on the floor gets harder on your body the older you get.
The only thing that makes a difference is sleeping in a hammock. Never woken up with back pain after sleeping in a hammock.
As for sleep quality, no real difference there either.

no, that’s what it means.
My cousin lives with our grandparents and she had a child recently, her and her husband both work, the grandparents take care of the kid during the night and part of the day and take shifts sleeping while the parents work and take care of the kid in the evening.
It takes all of them.
I must get it off my chest, babies are very cute and my second cousin sleeping on my grandpa is the cutest thing in the world she just falls right asleep on his chest as he snoozes on a recliner in the sun room.
It sounds gay as fuck but it’s adorable. Makes me want kids.
