Meme tech is only decent if your base frame rate is at least 60 so it isn't as ass however majority of users are poors so they gobble up the 10 second delays and call it a sweet deal

just tried the new update in some quick cases. for video interpolation it works as you'd expected, no big issue there except when the base framerate is too low(shocker)
for video games the biggest issues is still basic shit it can't deal well with, but a lot better than 2.x used to. menus popping up still cuz glitchy artifacts, so do low res shadows of your character (tarkov) funny enough, but those are subtle enough that you can ignore it. the adaptive option is super useful also, a lot better than how nvidia deals with it where it ALWAYS doubles your frames, cutting the base framerate if vsync is active to keep things in the limit. got 100fps but wanna up it to 120hz? easy, adaptives generates 20 frames and calls it a day. DLSS FG meanwhile will always cut the base down to 60 and then interpolate to 120, instead of using what frames your gpu CAN gennerate.

what i worry about is games locked to 30, i imagine those can be messy without interpolation that gets proper game data like NV FG or AMD FG, and even then its borderline no matter what as even those recommend 40+ as a minimum
as things stand current FG is more for high refresh gaming more than to get games to go from 30 to 120fps or some shit

If you're already hitting 60fps why not use it to hit 120fps

That you can use it in emulators is neat but it's way too noisy for that, i'd wait until emulator nerds get a way to use it with the 3D vectors instead of just 2D graphics

If you are serious about high refresh rate and low latency you're already using lowest settings at lower resolution and don't need frame gen to begin with.
