I followed this vid when buying my monitor and I'm pretty happy with what I bought (budget 1440p monitor). Check it out if you want, but keep in mind that depending on where you live some of these will be more or less expensive than HU says they are.

Sceptre has best bang for you're buck. Other than that it really just depends on what you want.
1080p if you're oldschool
1440p is enough for most
4k if you want to spend 400$ for a monitor that rapes you're GPU in games
OLED if you're an artist and want clear visuals
Just ignore any GPU related features like Gsync

I don't think you have a 5090 because if you did you'd have at least some idea for some of the monitor specs you want.
