Does anybody else daydream about teaching children in Africa about computers and programming? Like, you wake up in the savanna, the air already warm and smelling of dust and dry grass. You head to a small, brightly painted schoolhouse, the sounds of children's laughter already drifting on the breeze.
Inside, their eyes are wide with curiosity as you set up a few donated laptops. No fancy whiteboards or projectors here, just eager faces. You start with the absolute basics: what's a mouse? How do you turn it on? Soon, their small fingers are fumbling with the trackpads, navigating a simple paint program. The joy on their faces when they draw their first wobbly line, or type their name, is infectious.
Later, you introduce them to the magic of programming. Simple drag-and-drop blocks at first, making a character move across the screen. They shout with excitement, debating how to make their digital cat jump higher or their car drive faster. It's not about building the next big app; it's about opening a window to a world they never knew existed, sparking a curiosity that could change their lives.
You pack up as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery oranges and purples. The children wave goodbye, their goodbyes echoing with promises of "tomorrow!" You walk back, the vast, starry African sky above you, a quiet satisfaction settling in your chest. Just a daydream, maybe, but a powerful one.

You're too normal to be posting on this shithole
>>105579470>>105579840I feel an overwhelming sense of sheer pity at the very thought of the sad, angry and hateful lives you guys live and the bitter thoughts you both have.

While I will say that the fruits of your creative writing session were nice to read, reality is usually much more disappointing.
The majority of the population just doesn't click with computers for reasons I can't understand. For example a friend of mine always asks about how to do whatever and I explain it yet he can't seem to figure out the patterns, when I try to describe patterns, she doesn't get it. "Look, this is preselected, when you hover over it explains what the pattern does, this button is highlighted so there is a reason it wants to catch your attention" and she just stares like "uuuuh-huuuuuh" meaning that she doesn't get it.
I am simply incapable of comprehending what there is to not understand. It all just makes sense

theyre not inherently dumb, theyre just lazy

>inb4 american niggersafrican niggers sold their defects to you and thats why the difference is shocking, even
i really am not racist against africans
but i 100% understand why youre racist against american niggers
theyre night and day
>>105579463 (OP)What the fuck are you talking about sirs?
It's a nice thought but i think you are putting the horse behind the cart. Or the cart ahead of the horse...? Anyhow. Start by teaching computers to build a robust computer culture, then start with programming. Walk before you run.
Teach the usual basics, office programs for spreadsheets, documents, presentations. Photo editing, video editing, sound editing. Talk about operating systems, safety and mail shit, scams, ads and privacy.
