You can get fancy head units that have physical knob and also handle dash cam recording. I think Pioneer is still one of the premier brands. They're basically all repackaged Android cellphones with shit specs now, some a little better than others. The only caveats come in with vehicle specific controls like if you have your heated seats controlled via the head unit instead of a dedicated button.

Pioneer AVH-3500NEX is the only one on Crutchfield and it's over $800 and not in stock kek.
Android auto and cd player is a shit combo. You're not finding anything with both, pick one.

I got one with wireless android auto a year ago because grapheneOS just started supporting it. It's not really worth it imo, I don't even use any apps besides google maps that integrates well with it.
You can use that crutchfield site and filter by your car make/model and with a volume knob. The only radios it doesn't have are the chink knockoffs with noname branding.
