What an amazing assortment of useless tech, all defeated by a bunch of hicks who just noticed celestial, lunar, solar and other patterns

On top of that it tells me when it is a good day to plant or fish. What kind of kikery is involved in modern day "weather news" to make so many people tune in and listen or watch misinformation.

youre looking in the wrong spot
"kikery" is just exploiting natural imperatives
like energy conservation which makes people lazy, also intellectually, which makes em open to advertisement and convenience products

i dont even fish and i know the best weather is overcast
i dont even plant and i know you shouldnt be planting your stuff when temps go down below zero °c (i even know of a couple tricks to protect your plants if it does)
its general culture

i didnt plant until march. im not even a good farmer, i dont organize anything i just chose a day the calendar said was a good day, i squatted like a slav with a trowel, dug some holes and threw 6+ month old composting chicken shit at it. I even managed to accidentally kill a mole in the process but the whole ordeal of planting 2 plats (72 plants) took like, an hour and a half (20 min of weeding, 15 min of breaking up soil with a pickaxe, 10min to spread composted chicken shit around, the rest to digging with a small trowl and throwing plants into the ground)

based, dare i say
humans should remain in touch with our natural side
we live in cities only for a mere 50 out of 300k years of history

I'm just lazy and i have chickens and i know their shit is fertilizer and will do just fine doing a lot of work for me
Last month i planted 7 fruit trees. Today i planted 4 more, but in the woods not in my open lawn (they were pawpaws and like to be under bigger trees)

i bought a bag of potatos for some reason, i forget what i bought them for but i got my use and the rest started spudding. Did i throw them away? No, i just cut each one in half, dug a bunch of small holes and chucked them in. 2 months later i use the "PictureThis" app to confirm that yes, these are well established potato plants that have now surfaced and flourished above ground.

I had "weeds" growing up my sun room. But they were actually wild grape vines. I ripped them out making sure the root was in tact, and replanted them along my welded wire fence line. That was last year and this year they are there, growing and throwing out their tendrils which i occasionally help to lay grasp where i want them to.

I had a problem with wild blackberry vines on the side of my house that would shoot out from a single spiky stem and not form a nice bush, so i just dug those up and thew them into the edge of my back yard where the lawn meets the forest. They still grow in long single vines but i can direct them to not protrude into my lawn... and now i have blackberries that arent a nuissance

>groundhogs
>raccoons
when they become a nuissance i just shoot them and make cheeseburgers out of them because hand-grinding them with granny's countertop handpowered meat pulverizer is the most efficient way of making wild gamey meat palatable (otherwise im soaking them in brine for 24 hours and its still meh)

to me it seem like you are blaming the tech for the failures of geophysicists. why?

it could be either. maybe the science is shit and they think throwing tech (and money) will somehow make it better
