I unexpectedly got Magic Keyboard when I picked up a cheap used m2 pro the other day. My initial reaction was that the keyboard and trackpad feels GREAT. But probably the feature I like most is not being able to pick up or put down my iPad without unplugging and plugging it in, it just magnetically snaps it unsnaps into place which is maximum comfy. For the longest while I was thinking of picking up a new MacBook Air but I could never never pull the trigger because I couldn’t see myself using it more than my iPad. Now that I have mkb to go with my 12.9” pro I think I’ll just pick up a m4 mini instead

they had to make it heavy to support the iPad's weight
but is it worth the expensive price, when there are other keyboards out there with a traditional clamshell design?

I’m an 11-inch guy and I just use an old Bluetooth keyboard with my iPad if I think I’m going to need to do a lot of typing on my iPad and won’t want to take a real computer for whatever reason

I'm still having buyer's remorse 2 years after, the magic keyboard made me not want to bring my iPad outside that much anymore, but at least the keyboard feels nice to type on
I can do a lot of things on my iPad, but I still consider it a supplementary device to my PC, so having both at home feels a bit redundant

It is nice. But insanely expensive. I lucked out and found one at the thrift store. But it doubles the size & weight of the ipad. I like the compactness of the iPad, so I went back to the folio keyboard case. And even that I sometimes find a little cumbersome since I can't just fold the keyboard in back to use as a tablet.

I made the mistake of buying one and ended up giving it to my grandma because I never used it.
My grandma gave it back later because she preferred her laptop lol
