I just said the anon was wrong about his statement.
Second thing there are backports of chrome and firefox to windows 7 and even for windows xp.
>You are using dozens of bits of software that can install whatever they want on your computer. They can't because firefox asks where to download the file and nowadays doesn't launch file after download by itself.
I don't install webshit pseudo-native apps on my computer, they are contained in browser sandbox where they belong.
I don't install random apps on my computer. I just setup the things I always used and don't install anything for months/years.
I don't run browser without ublock origin, because internet nowadays in cancer and I don't visit random sites.
There is no such thing as port-scanning a Windows computer from the browser. I don't have IPv6 enabled either.
It's impossible to access a port even if it was open without having a direct connection. They would need to either have a malicous host in local network or establish a tunnel through the breached router. The only possible thing that may happen is if your or other device in the network is infected with malware.
