Because with evil, you can argue, you can expose it, and you can even convince evil people to do good things.
But an ignorant person will not care.
Trump is what happens when a large majority of the people are excluded from politics. Both the republicans and democrats hated the "working-class scum". The middle class that once was the backbone of capitalism is not falling apart; people can't afford to buy a house, and those who can are being robbed at gunpoint by overpriced cardboard pieces of shit. Every job that pays something is some bullshit job that requires sucking dick on LinkedIn. And the things that can't be bullshitted are being given away to immigrants because the rich folks don't think working class should charge what they make in 15 minutes, even if it's something ridiculously dangerous or backbreaking.
The issue is that Trump is not different; he is just more of the same, but he knows how to make ignorant people feel special.
