I own their Framework 13 in intel, it's the best laptop I've ever owned. I already upgraded the battery for a new one since I always use it on the go without a charger and the attachments are handy for swapping depending on what I'm doing that day.

I've used both of those things extensively. Touchscreens are fantastic on HP's x360 EliteBooks for drawing or using the device while in bed or tired (or when you just don't want a whole ass PC unfolded on your lap) and numpads are fantastic if you do anything more than browse 4chan, such as play video games or do anything related to finance. The numpad is excellent hotkey space as well.

They're right now a bespoke small manufacturing company. Some OEM will only sell their components in bulk numbers that Framework can't afford. It's a miracle they even got this far in a market where laptops are commodities with razor thin profit margins. Also, Linus only owns a token $250k worth of shares, not even enough to sit in on a board meeting.

Touch screen displays are the most niggerish shit ever. 10x rhe cost, garbage image quality, totally useless. Modern intel is useless on laptops. Even on old-style brick chassis with active cooling they overheat like crazy and throttle immediately.
