I don't know jack shit about gaming PCs, so I'd rather not build one. I live in Japan, and one of my options is buy from this website because they speak English. I'm looking for something that can play any games on Steam at a high performance w/ 60 fps. Is this a huge rip-off or somewhat decent? It's 215,000 yen with the windows 11 OS.

So how do I know what's worth buying or not? I checked Japanese websites and everything is around this price for something like this. I don't want to take the risk of buying a bunch of parts that I have no idea how to use. Japan's not like America where you can just return shit easily. You guys have any recommendations? 1080p is fine too I guess.

Hwat?

Isn't the USD raping the Japanese economy into submission right now? This should be pocket change for you. Don't tell me you get paid in yen kek.

What do you mean? I don't know anything about gaming PCs, so I'm asking if you happen to know a fairly-priced gaming PC that can play any game on Steam with high settings at 60 fps.
>215,000 yen
I want to get a good deal regardless, but I don't know if this is a huge rip-off or actually decent for the price.

I have no idea about prices in Japan but that's pretty low-end stuff. That 4060 especially isn't really going to give you any amazing performance at 1440p like the blurb claims, but the system will be sufficient to run pretty much everything, as long as you are willing to drop graphics quality for the sake of performance.

Building a pc in this day and age is the same difficulty level as building IKEA furniture. If you're a tard and can't do that you shouldn't even have a computer but an Iphone.

It's all budget parts but the price is quite low too so it's whatever. You will definitely not be able to play new releases with decent performance on this system though.
Look for reviews for your graphics card.

I got recommended this awhile back: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/49prt3. I might consider building it myself if it's as easy as you guys say, but only if I'll be able to use it for a couple years without needing to replace the parts.

You are gonna have to spend 400k yen if you want anything decent
Also, don't buy last gen shit parts. It is better to get the newest thing so you won't need to buy again in 1-2 years time

Looks like a mid range 1080p rig. Dont know enough about bug eye currency to tell if that's a good price.

Pre builds are a scam and building your own will require a bit more effort than this >>105619944
If you want to play current 3xA releases at 1440p you will have to fork over at least 2000$ or whatever imperial credits equivalent.
Why do you want to build a PC in the first place? Right now consoles are probably a better bang for your buck if you don't want to get too involved with it.

I built my pc a few years ago. The one you posted has similar specs, but I went with AMD instead.
The parts are a few years behind the current gen, but so far I'm getting good performance, easily 60fps on the games I play.
If you have the know how or don't mind a bit of frustrating set up, consider AMD/Linux instead of nVidia/Windows. Steam is pretty Linux friendly these days (even games that are only designed for Windows are often playable on Linux thanks to Proton), but you might have issues with a few games still. It's worth it to me to not have to deal with Windows bloat/telemtry/ads.
Go with Windows if you don't want the hassle of set up and can stand using Windows. The specs look fine to me.
