It's old news. And it sucks. It might be better at inpainting. It's a downgrade the way SD2 was. SD3 was better than 1.5 in some ways, but SDXL had done enough there was no reason to move to SD3. Flux 2 looks like the same deal.

Flux 3 is under development. Black Forest Labs posts about it on their Twitter. Flux 2 is basically 100% done so they have to start work on the new one before it is done. Flux 3 images are out there, but mostly on Czech sites for some reason, I guess one of their E EU devs leaked it.

Chroma is based on Schnell. I'm skeptical it is enough of an upgrade to make an impact. It's like SD3, SD3 was better than 1.5 or 2. But we already had a billion loras and checkpoints for SD1.5 and SDXL. SD3 just wasn't good enough to justify the overhaul required. Chroma feels like the same thing.

yes, NAG is separate from the main negative prompt. I tried putting my normal negative in both places but outputs were about the same (in terms of quality), but if you put one or two specific things into nag it seemed to work in removing them from the gen.

Controlnet is a tool. Any model can do controlnet, IPAdapter, etc..

So that's not a really a perk of SDXL, just a temporary boost that any model can have.

Not only that, it's held back by its limited understanding of text, objects, multiple subjects, CLIP, and its shit prompt understanding.

You can not hack SDXL to be a better model, that just simply is not possible due to its architecture and lackluster training compared to better models.

bruh, it's for lazy prompters that want porn served quickly. text is kind of a useless gimmick for image models, multiple subjects still need to crutch on composition tools like controlnet, objects can just be put in with loras. smut is something that doesn't train well with loras if it's a cucked model. ai is for three things: advertising, memes and porn. I suppose cosmos would be good if you wanted to run a business making ads but that's about it

You can't describe what is on your mind without LoRAs. Even if you get a description, you won't get an accurate depiction of what you described because the model isn't that good. Then a ui mode so you can create a frontend for it based on the nodes you added. You could recreate forges ui if you wanted to, with tabs for txt2img, img2img and all the associated features like controlnets without ever having to see a noodle.

"ai slop deepfake" seems to work pretty well in the negatives with chroma. Makes me think ai slop was in the training data

yes, that's why everything in my app is components, not nodes. I have a node components for other components that are nodeable. it saves memory doing it this way. I chose imgui as well since you can dock elements anywhere you want and the ui customization is peak. I want to see people making video games with diffusion mechanics though so that's why I have a better license as well.

You are mistaking a limitation of a model that can't follow a description, can't follow a prompt, for a model that can. If the model can even capture a vague idea of what is on your mind that is a massive step forward. There's a massive difference between being able to control the character's exact position, camera angle, what they're wearing, who they're interacting with (and how), objects in the vicinity, the setting, the lighting, and all those things depicted with precision vs. not being able to do so accurately. They used Wan 14B T2V to make a distilled 4 step version of the model, using Self Forcing training. Kijai then used that distilled model to extract the distilled LoRA everyone is using here. For the i2v version though, they're going to use VACE. It's unlikely you can extract a 4 step LoRA from it that will work with regular Wan i2v 480p or 720p. It'll only work with VACE. That's bad
