I've been a windows chad for a while now and decided to finally give troonix a try, fedora with kde is pretty nice, last time i used mint with cinnamon and it was complete dogshit, random shit wouldnt work and changing settings with the gui wouldnt actually apply them.

kde seems pretty bloated but atleast everything works

my brother, you're coming from Windows. even if it's bloated by Linux standards, it's gonna be lightweight compared to Windows

Run Gnome, then.

(Then do XFCE/LXDE and compare/contrast)

It's just habit. Most would be perfectly happy on Linux. It might even be better for you.

Only the most bloated DE is functional, if you think otherwise you haven't use Linux long enough.

Everyone's usecase is unique, the only ways to make a piece of software that works for everyone are
>Include everything someone might need and let them decide what to remove
>Include the absolute minimum everyone needs and let them decide what to add
Both have pros and cons, KDE simply gravitates towards the former

I will say, so far based on what I’ve seen, you can definitely tell that Trannyix was written by programmers and not designers.

After the last decade of "UI/UX" brain damage, freetards would probably consider this a point of pride.

Why are you using a 20 year old wallpaper?

LTSC is an extremely stripped down version of Windows for appliances, and it's not any less bloated than a full Plasma setup.
