My current phone number is so fucking compromised I get ads and calls by all kinds of fucking faggots trying to sell me shit. One time I got a call for a job from these guys who saw my CV, I go there and indeed they have my CV but I never gave it to them. How the shit did they get it?

Anyways, I want to kill my previous digital identity and start a new. What are the steps here? New email address, scrap the old SIM and make a new phone number? What else?

Everything requires a log-in. I log in with a google account so I dont have to register, and apparently google hands out my phone number to any chink who wants it
>hope that poojets are right
Bad gamble

in my experience when you ignore scam calls for a while they pretty much completely stop

but if you answer even one of them they will spam you much more for a while (i thought it'd be funny to answer spam calls and just ignore them but it wasnt)

There's this application I use to block calls that fail STIR/SHAKEN (robocalls fail this) called carrion, unfortunately it was made by Divested computing so it's no longer being updated but it still works on my phone, it may work on a new install.

I set up my phone to auto-reject any number that isn't in my contact list. If somebody I don't know can't send be an e-mail that gets past my spam filter its not important enough.

>>105632194
Bullshit, I set the auto-rejection up like 2 years ago and still get 5-ish spam calls a day whenever I try turning it off. (No, I don't answer them.) I think if you answer even once they spam you forever.

What do jeets hate anyway? Like there must be something you can say to them to get on a naughty-do-not-call list.

If the US spammed called people in ituer countries it would probably be saying the nigger word since they're federally protected wildlife

LOL this guy
they do not stop, they push it to another department. I get 20 calls a month from a service called PLIVO and it's all different numbers each time.

there's this email movement now where you can add any letter or word after your email address by using a +
>email+phrase@yourservice
and it helps you figure out how many places your email is going as it's redistributed among many other marketing companies that "hack" each other. kinda wish phones had this same thing

>"I'm eating beef right now"
>YOU BASTARD! YOU BLODY BENCHOD!!!!

Too bad I'm in Italy so all my spam calls are romanian girls

Link that shit.
Also once you see all the companies that have your email, what can you do about it?

Why is iphone so shit regarding spam calls? Android’s Phone app just blocks them natively.

Gmail has done it for a long time, we know it as "plus addressing"

>University of Connecticut has it on their servers, provided to their people
I wouldn't be surprised if other educational servers allow this
https://kb.uconn.edu/space/IKB/10731880518/What+is+Plus+Email+Addressing+and+How+Do+I+Use+It%3F

>MS said it's been there for a while since 2020
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/recipients-in-exchange-online/plus-addressing-in-exchange-online
https://www.codetwo.com/admins-blog/plus-addressing/

>cpanel has provided it for a while
https://cpanel.net/blog/products/plus-addressing-in-cpanel/
I noticed this on one of my hosting accounts

>cloudflare had it since 2022 probably
https://community.cloudflare.com/t/support-plus-addressing-in-email-routing/346812/6

>Also once you see all the companies that have your email, what can you do about it?
I knew that was a general risk anyway (i'm not the OP)

It was sold by another company you uploaded it to. Probably first to a recruiting firm and then to someplace else.

Ah, I looked it up and understood what it is: you write out your email with an added tag when giving it to another website, and you make it so that tag is the name of the website.
That way when you get spam you know which website sent it
