>drops it again accidentally
>oops, the thing no longer charges your phone
>feels heavy in your pocket, sometimes it's too big
>charges your phone slow despite getting hot for some reason
>$20-$50, more expensive than your average wall outlet charger
>usb c, iphone and micro usb cables that are in the way and an outright inconvenience for the user

>Why do people use these again?
Right, why?
I mean, nowadays phones can last a few days on one charge and if you travel you bring your charger with you anyway. I bought my last phone for $150 and I had to charge it once every 4-5 days. My current one required charging once every 2 days but that's still twice more than enough.

How? Are people watching tiktoks at 4k 120Hz 100% brightness? Even then I'd expect the battery to last much longer.

maybe not in my entire life but like
I drop my phone once every 5 years, literally a non issue for me because i'm not a niggermonkey, no idea why dropping your shit all the time is so normalized, it's not like it takes that much effort to not be a retard

yep, it's insane
modern phones all do 8+ hours of screen on time easily, even the ones with the smallest batteries and most power hungry processors, yet zoomers still complain that it's not enough, boggles my mind.
one of the main reason phones are so fucking stupidly huge these days is to pack a 5000mAh battery inside and yet they still want moar
a 2700mAh z5 compact with an 8 watt snapdragon 810 used to last me like 3 days of ""regular"" use just fine

If I don't touch my phone ever and it is idle, it will last over a week without charging. If I keep it idle and airplane mode, It will drop about 1% per night, so in theory it will last over a month. If I use it as navigator in the car, in the sun, it will not last over 5 hours so I have to charge to get needed 6 hours. This means that even driving 2 hours and same back, taking even two pictures with camera app, it will not last full trip. Also I bought two new unopened $80 Xiaomi battery packs just because person did win them and sold both for total of $30. When I used Nokia E63, I just had four batteries in my pocket. These new phones, I can't do that. No, I will not buy your over $100 phone just because it has replaceable battery when my max spec OnePlus 7 Pro was $50, 6 months after release date and I still today have LineageOS 22.1 (Android 15).

the battery doesn't degrade that quickly when you don't use it so much that you have to charge 2 times a day
shocking I know
my z5 compact lasted 2-3 day for 7 years of use
