>>105640500 (OP)>they're making it worse on purpose (and routinely move features to higher-priced tiers), so you should reward them for thatNo.
>you're probably spending more time than you'd make at work on fixing itFirst of all, I don't make time at work. I make money.
Second, if you meant to say that the time I spend fixing it each year would be worth more than $140, then you're either retarded or being disingenuous.
"Fixing it" amounts to updating my blocklists, which is done automatically and does not require my active participation. I spend, with no hyperbole, no time doing this.
Even if this task WAS something that required any action on my part, it would take a single click and amount to maybe a whole minute every year.
Taking your poorly thought out hypothetical further: Even if this task took HOURS of my active, undivided attention to complete, I would not be losing money by doing so. Updating my blocklists does not impact my job performance, it does not jeopardize my employment, nor does it have any bearing on the figure I'm paid every year.
The only "person" who loses money when I choose not to watch ads on YouTube, is YouTube. And fuck them.
P.S. I got paid to type this out on company time.
